Cool Kicks on the Block. Our favourite sneakers this season.

We are so happy that the sneaker trend has been staying alive this long and will be continuing for some time in the future. Both of us have very busy lifestyles in the Bush and the City and having the best sneaker by your side just makes your daily tasks a little bit smoother.

Here are some of our favourite sneakers this season. I hope that these beauties don’t go out of style as you can dress them up or down, in the bush or in the city wherever life finds you.

Mango Colour Block Trainer in Pastel
New Balance Unisex 327
Chuck Taylor All Star Lift – OX
  • New Balance Unisex 327 – I am in love with this design as it is funky and classic at the same time. It is so comfortable with a thicker heel and has support in the front and the back so your feet won’t get tired. These lovely ladies go well with a denim or a dress and will go the extra mile with you. I bought mine on Superbalist for R1999 but they are currently on sale for R1 599.

  • Freedom of Movement Ladies Tekkie – I have mine in the Champagne colour and this is a sneaker that won’t soon lose its style and functionality. I wear mine almost all of the time as I am a pretty “beige” person when it comes to styling. I would love to add the new “Blossom” colour to my wardrobe as well. I am a “less is more” kind of person and that’s exactly what these sneakers do. They are available in their stores or online here and priced for R1 895.

  • Mango Sneakers – Colour block trainer in pastel. I saw these on a friend of mine and immediately fell in love. I have a thing for Mango, so it didn’t take me long to find me a pair. Unfortunately they were sold out on the South African platforms, so I had to order them directly from Asos in the UK here.

  • All Star Converse – Chuck Taylor All Stars. These sneakers have been in fashion since the first day this brand started in the 70’s. They are versatile yet functional and really does seem to still be the cool kicks on the block. I love to wear them with a dress and Nicola really wears them almost all the time with her denims. They are available nationwide on different platforms but I just always buy myself a pair on Superbalist and depending on your style they range anything between R850 to R2000.
